About us

Night Heron Bread is most decidedly a family affair.

Founded by Trevor and Robin Adams, Night Heron Bread is a West Alameda neighborhood bakery that uses freshly-milled whole grains, seasonal ingredients, and sourdough techniques. We not only want to make delicious bread, we aim to foster curiosity about delicious and sustainable food in our community.

"Everything Trevor bakes is amazing, and there's a real flavor difference from mass-produced breads and other baked goods. It's also super fun to see a real family business in operation. We feel good supporting our neighbors!"

—Leah Roderman, Alameda

Invest in deliciousness.

We started Night Heron Bread in our garage in 2020 and have been growing organically baby step-by-baby step since. We have big (hyperlocal!) dreams and would welcome a chat if you want to help us in our mission to bring delicious, sustainable food to the Alameda community.
