Country Bread Club (Tuesdays or Saturdays)

Make sourdough bread part of your weekly routine by joining our bread club! Your membership is one of the core elements of our small business. Your community support gives us the foundation to operate as a small-scale neighborhood bakery committed to sourcing excellent grains, maintaining close relationships with our customers, and supporting public health.

The country bread is our bakery standard; a blend of stoneground yecora rojo wheat, & organic expresso hard red spring wheat. Learn more about the good work of Cairnspring , our miller in Skagit Valley, Washington.

Every week you’ll have a loaf reserved in your name. If you prefer a country sandwich loaf (pan loaf), you’ll be presented with that option in the checkout.

Pick-Up Options:

  • Tuesday Mornings (9-1p) at the Alameda Farmer’s Market

  • Tuesday Evenings (5-7p) at 478 Taylor Ave

  • Tuesdays at Island Savoy Market (9-6:30)

  • Saturday Mornings (9-1p) at the Alameda Farmers Market

Please note: Subscriptions are now on a rolling basis! Sign up anytime and begin picking up on your specified day after receiving your confirmation email (unless you sign up on the same day as pick up). Subscriptions picked up after the market after it is closed will be available in the bread shed at 478 Taylor Avenue. Orders not picked up within 24 hours are donated unless we hear from you.

We’re a neighborhood bakery owned and run by two food professionals. We love what we do, and we support the Alameda and Bay Area community however we can.
